We at Tidewater DSA share in the outrage at the senseless murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police and the horrifying treatment of Isaiah Swift by the Norfolk Police and judicial system. We stand with the protest in Minneapolis who are taking a stand against a state violence and an economic violence who tries to tell them that their lives don’t matter. We are here to say that they matter and that you matter and these struggles we carry with us are meant to be carried together. We hope that you will join us this Sunday May 31st at [redacted] for a demonstration against police violence hosted by [redacted].
